Heinrich Hussmann (1899 - 1982) MOSER VASE

The unusual vase made of purple metallurgical alexandrite glass was produced by the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary according to a design by Heinrich Hussmann. Alexandrite, one of the six basic Moser colours, has a mysterious, light purple hue that changes significantly according to the type of light. In cold, usually artificial lighting, it has a soft, light blue colour. In daylight or under warm light, on the other hand, it is pastel purple. Excellent condition.
