Josef Kousal graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague with prof. M. Švabinský in the years 1926-33. After graduating, he starts working as a full professor at the Zlín School of Art. He portrayed Baťa's family, painted landscapes, still lifes, bouquets.
