Neznámý Italský Mistr PIETA WITH ANGELS

According to Dr. Wolfgang Speyer, professor at the University of Salzburg, this is a beautiful example of the Roman school around 1580. The work was assessed during restoration work, where it was cleaned, treated, and slightly retouched. On the back of the panel is the seal of the last aristocratic owner, with traces of the previous seal. The motif is complemented by a Renaissance frame made of gilded linden wood in the 16th-century Tuscan style.
