Jan Saudek (1935) TEMPTATION

Jan Saudek is rightly called a personality and his style of photography is easily distinguishable at first glance. The studio colour photographs depict the typically female body of all shapes and ages, the motif of the relationship between women and men, love and attraction, often in the physical freedom of human nudity. In the early years of his work, he photographed himself, focusing on themes of childhood and the relationship between children and adults, motherhood and fatherhood. In the 1980s he often depicted provocative themes and contrasted different age groups.
