Ludmila Jiřincová (1912 - 1994) POND

The focus of Ludmila Jiřincová's work was the careful drawing with which she mapped her surroundings, observed nature and the subtle reflections of human emotions. Her natural talent and artistic sensitivity is reflected in her landscapes, which are quiet, lyrically composed and enveloped in soft light. An early morning at the pond undoubtedly stirred her artistic sensibility to the point that she captured the landscape very authentically in the plein air.
