Ludmila Jiřincová (1912 - 1994) VILLON

Ludmila Jiřincová worked on the Villon theme in a series of prints, some of which accompanied the bibliophile edition of Villon through the eyes of Ludmila Jiřincová. In 1960 she was awarded the prize for the most beautiful book of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, and in 1982 she received the title of Meritorious Artist. Her work is represented in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague and other institutions.
