Ivana Šrámková (1960) WATERPOT

The author's object called Waterpot (Konvička) represents Ivana Šrámková's characteristic poetics - a combination of playful stylization and precise craft. The object in the form of a stylized bird is created by combining various materials. The part of the body is made of yellow uranium glass, complemented by bronze legs made in cooperation with the workshop of sculptor Miloš Vacek. The central element is a fragment of an original plastic waterpot from the 1960s, while the head and other details are composed of other small objects that the artist likes to recycle and incorporate into her work. Made in the workshop of Lukáš Košt'ál.
