Václav Pavlík (1901 - 1966) NUDE WITH FLOWERS

Václav Pavlík mainly painted lyrical and colourfully elaborate still lifes and landscapes. He collaborated with the National Theatre. He was a member of UB, the Association of Artists in Prague, with whom he exhibited. He was involved in scenography, painting and book graphics. His bouquets are an appealing celebration of colour and life, with a freer and more emotional presentation.
