Artistically, Ullmann was shaped by the Chittusian landscape as well as the tendencies of landscape art nouveau. Gradually, with the relaxation of the brush presentation, the visual component is strengthened and Ullmann moves to the technique of larger or smaller spots, spreads the colors dry on the mat and on top in pastes, combines oil and tempera, and achieves true technical mastery.
