Porcelain sculpture depicting a young man in Rococo costume, seated on a rocky outcrop and holding an oval basket with floral decoration. He wears a yellow jacket richly adorned with hand-painted flowers, purple trousers, and a white shirt with a lace collar. In his left hand, he holds a flower, which he examines with interest. The basket is decorated with painted flowers both inside and out. The base of the sculpture imitates grassy terrain with scattered blossoms. Produced by the Volkstedt porcelain manufactory.
