Jaroslav Rössler (1902 - 1990) LA ROSE

Jaroslav Rössler is one of the pioneers of abstraction in Czech photography. He was aware of various European art movements and sought to respond to them through his photography. He combined interesting reflections and shadows, sometimes creating typographic collages. Rössler, who trained in František Drtikol's studio, also became a member of Devětsil as a photographer.
