The graphic works from the 1960s represent a sought-after collection in Jiří Anderle's oeuvre, in which there is an inward shift in thinking, a disruption of the visible image, and the seeping of inner content to the surface. Dance halls charged with energy inspired him for a long time; Anderle's memories were tied to dance halls and intertwined with his reading of classical literature. For him, dance was something immensely human, a primal ritual.
