Alois Fišárek (1906 - 1980) STILL LIFE WITH LIMES

Alois Fišárek was a Czech academic painter, art teacher, and student of landscape painter Otakar Nejedlý. His relaxed brushwork, leaning toward European modernism, is illuminated by bright tones that are characteristic of his work. He created several similarly treated still lifes that avoid literal transcription but are rather sensually perceived.
