Otakar Kubín (1883 - 1969) RESTING UNDER A TREE

Otakar Kubín-Coubine is one of the few Czech artists whose work has gained recognition abroad. France became his second home (from 1912), particularly the southern region of Provence, where he spent more than half of his life and whose landscape became a lifelong source of inspiration for him. The drawing comes from an important and extensive Prague collection.
