Between 1943 and 1948, Janeček repeatedly made guest appearances at the SVU Mánes exhibition and was subjected to professional criticism, by which he was considered an exceptional talent. He devoted himself to Cubism and its many possibilities for about five years. He was interested in the rational factor, formal multi-view variations but also in the painterly side of complex and innovative construction. The inspiration here comes directly from Picasso and Braque. After participating in the broad generational show Confrontation in 1945 at the Topič Salon, Janeček also presented a solo exhibition at the Poš Gallery, where he presented a collection of drawings and gouaches from 1943 to 1945. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
