AN ART DECO PORCELAIN DOSE

The rare jar comes from one of the most prestigious porcelain factories in Germany at that time. It operated in Fraureuth between 1866 and 1926. The gold and green colour combination of the jar, with painted winged Art Nouveau creatures resembling butterflies and birds, has a gilded metal figure of a child on the top, which serves as a handle.
