Antonietta was the first woman to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 1867. She excelled in depicting vedutas in the spirit of 19th century traditions, and her work with light and small details is especially precise. She exhibited her works at the joint exhibitions of Kunstverein für Böhmen in Prague, participated in the International Exhibition in Melbourne (1880), the International Exhibition of Watercolors in Rome in 1906 and exhibited her works in the Society of Fine Arts in Florence between 1907 and 1908. After 1906 she sent most of her paintings for sale in London.
