The melancholic, painterly and sensitive rendering of the author's favourite theme of girls has been running through her work for literally decades. The focus of Ludmila Jiřincová's work was primarily on young women, acting as a symbol of human destiny and a manifestation of the delicate and sensitive human soul. Ludmila Jiřincová studied painting, ceramics and landscape design. She worked in free graphics, illustrations, cartoons, ex-libris, painting, stamps and posters. She has illustrated around 360 books.
