The offered painting, attributed to Julius Mařák, presents a popular theme of the autumn forest in earthy vivid colors and a play of lights and shadows.The work probably dates from the first half of the 1980s, when Mařák's angle of view narrowed more and more and focused on a smaller and more limited space.
