The drawing of Josef Lada, a well-known illustrator, is an example of his unmistakable handwriting. The scenes that cross his entire work are based on events in his native Hrusice. The icon of Czech painting and illustration with the typical handwriting of strong lines and rounded shapes of the figures belongs to the popular celebration of folklore holidays and we remember his work every year in the form of calendars, greeting cards and postcards with reproductions of the author's works.
