The twins Hans and Botho von Römer were the forerunners of many futuristically oriented artists. As early as the 1920s, they were already creating paintings of futuristic visions of technology, which mostly dealt with themes such as transport planning, land and water vehicles, but also aviation and space travel. They also created many advertising posters.
