CUP WITH SAUCER SLAVKOV

Porcelain cup of chalice form on a circular foot, with a sculpted coiled volute handle highlighted in gilding. Decorated with golden sprigs and a German inscription in black calligraphy: „Oft noch führe unumwölkt die Sonne, Dir den heutigen Tag herauf!“. The cup is delicately gilded along the rim, foot, and handle. Produced by the Horní Slavkov porcelain manufactory.

Damage: partially worn gilding.
