BIG BAROQUE GLASS

Baroque glass made of very thick-walled clear glass, probably from Northern Bohemia. The surface features four engraved panels—two larger and two smaller—framed by cut lens-like facets. The two larger panels depict a nobleman in a garden. One smaller panel shows a bird in a cage, and the other contains floral motifs and scrollwork. Three of the panels bear inscriptions:

ICH GEHE MEINEN GANG
ICH SANGE MEINEN GESANG
ICH BLEIBE EIN NARR SEG LEBELANG (?)

Damage: very small chips on the lower edge.
