Vratislav Hugo Brunner was a Czech graphic artist, typographer, illustrator, and painter. He designed this glass in 1922 for the Artěl arts and crafts cooperative, founded in Prague in 1908. Identical glasses are held in the collections of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and the Glass Museum in Passau, Bavaria.
