This lively drawing of a girl in traditional costume is one of many works by Uprka on this theme. We also have evidence of his hand-drawn postcards from the same period, in the same style and technique, which he sent himself. On the reverse is an endorsement from the Peithner-Lichtenfels & Čubrda Gallery confirming the authenticity of the work at the OGVU in Hodonín.
