Otto Gutfreund (1889 - 1927) HEAD

A representative work of Gutfreund's synthetic cubism. The relief of a cubist head ranks among the artist's post-war work in Paris. During this period, he considered returning to his homeland, but made it conditional on obtaining a studio in Prague. In the end, he remained in Paris. Later cast mounted on oak wood.
