This lyrical and expressive small version of the sculpture Heracles belongs to Horec's work from the 1920s, when he was inspired by ancient mythology. He was greatly influenced by the French sculptor Bourdell, whom he met in 1909. The sculpture was created in various sizes. The dimensions given are with the pedestal. It is an original bronze.
