Jaroslav Horejc (1886 - 1983) HERACLES

The lyrical and expressive sculpture of Hercules belongs to Horejec's work from the 1920s, when he was inspired by ancient mythology. He was greatly influenced by the French sculptor Bourdell, whom he met in 1909. The sculpture was created in various sizes. The dimensions given include the pedestal. This is a later cast.
