Jaroslav Horejc (1886 - 1983) OLYMPIA

From the end of the 1920s to the 1960s, Horejc's sculptural work took off in several directions. Decorativism continued to be strongly emphasized, resulting in a large number of female and androgynous nudes, as well as a numerous collection of female heads. The head of Olympia from the late 1930s belongs to this collection. The dimensions given include the pedestal. This is a later cast.
