Renata Štolbová (1958) VILLAGE IN ŠUMAVA

Villages with houses, trees, angels, and horses are common motifs in the paintings of Renata Štolbová, who draws on her childhood memories to create gentle compositions full of subtle lyricism. She studied at the Faculty of Education at Charles University and at the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design under Zdeněk Sklenář and Jiří Mikula. She exhibits regularly in the Czech Republic and abroad.
