Eš (Esche) is a village located in the Vysočina region, and Václav Toman captured part of it with the Chapel of St. Magdalene in the submitted design. Václav Toman studied under Jakub Obrovský, Vlaho Bukovac, and Franz Thiele. He created diverse landscapes and portraits that appear remarkably lifelike.
