Miroslav Truksa (1918 - ????) MEMORY

Miroslav Truksa studied at the Czech Technical University under Cyril Bouda and at the Academy of Fine Arts under J. Holeček. He was one of the lesser known members of the group Makarská 57 (M 57). Truksa's work was in line with the canon of the group, i.e. with the modern spirit and sincerity of Czech and international painting. He is known for his landscapes, abstractions and portraits.
