Jiří Netík (1953) WOMAN ON A CHAIR

A woman with her head bowed, sitting on a high chair, created from patinated bronze. In his work, the artist focuses on the spiritual anchoring of man in the context of nature, the universe, and history. The focus of his message is the individual searching for his identity and place on earth. Since 1996, he has been teaching at the College of Applied Arts in Brno and collaborating with the Faculty of Architecture at the Brno University of Technology.
