The main decoration features a finely painted grisaille allegorical scene titled L’Activité, depicting a woman seated at a spinning wheel—symbolizing industriousness or active virtue. The painting is framed in gold. The lower band of the cup is finished in pale blue, while the upper band is adorned with gilded ornamentation, including vine branches and stylized vessels. Both the upper and lower rims are gilded.

The saucer is designed in a matching style.
