Miroslav Navrátil became famous as a designer of a tram seat mounted on trams in the 1950s and 1980s. Navrátil used the combination of laminate with wood or metal very often in the 1950s and 1960s. The design of the "Expo 58" television chair won the Design Jury Prize in Milan in 1960.
