The unique, elegant eight-arm hanging chandelier from Vienna's Danhauser workshops represents the pinnacle of the representation of its time. The individual arms are richly decorated with slender acanthus leaves with volute-shaped decoration, above them four nymphs holding jugs, finished with a richly carved festoon. The chandelier comes from the important workshop of Joseph Ulrich Danhauser, who, as the founder of this family workshop, led European design thanks to timeless models. Published: Archive MAK Vienna, KI 8971-1657, "Luster N ° 11". Original preserved condition, newly electrified.
