Set of four teapots: for tea, coffee, chocolate and milk. The largest teapot with a lower base for heating tea is equipped with a bone handle. The richly decorated teapots were designed for the Russian market, as evidenced by Russian hallmarks, and are decorated with putti and shells. Made by Hauptmann, a court supplier to the monarchy. The overall extraordinarily sophisticated design with elaborate sea murex shell and putti, which play and fly around the entire object, testifies to the exclusivity of this silver service, which was probably supposed to seem quite impressive for the guests present in the home of its owners. Marked with a stamp in the shape of Diana's head and 80 zolotnik.
