This Late Gothic statue of a church dignitary with a bishop's mitre and a book in his left hand. The gesture of his right hand suggests that he held a crosier. Polychrome painting has been removed from the wood; it only remains in the folds of the drapery of the cloak. The sculpture is carved mainly for the front view; drapery and other details are merely indicated on the back. Linden wood.
