Luděk Marold (1865 - 1898) LADY IN A STREET

Luděk Marold became famous for his drawings and also emerged as a compelling chronicler of Parisian aesthetics. He observed and brilliantly captured the life around him; he often left his drawings unfinished, relying instead on their immediate impact. When a drawing was used for a black-and-white illustration, its more spontaneous execution actually lent it a sense of dynamism.
