Vasily Ivanovich Grandi was a painter born in Lviv who specialized in landscapes and battle scenes, often in the form of detailed and large-scale dioramas for museums. He was born in Lviv, studied in St. Petersburg, and his works are part of the collections of the State Historical Museum, the Museum of Moscow, and various regional museums; they are also found in private collections in Russia.
