An Empire table clock with quarter-hour clockwork and automation (a sharpener and a smith). The musical chime has two melodies, one of which is Škroup's composition for the Czech national anthem, "Kde domov můj". Eight alabaster columns rise from a mahogany base decorated with brass and gilding. The upper section of the dial features partially exposed clockwork flanked by two griffins.
