A very well-preserved specimen of a thematically unified voluminous series of three important bohemian prints of the Czech humanist, publisher and writer Daniel Adam of Veleslavín. The binding contains: Heinrich Bunting - Itinerarium sacrae Scripturae: To gest: Putowánj Swatých On wssecku Swatau Biblj obogjho Zákona ... a Itinerarium Novi testamenti: To gest: Putowánj Swatých Knjha druhá na Nowý Zákon,  Historia židovská na knihy čtyry rozdělená a Wypsánj města Jeruzaléma.. The book has an attractive pictorial cartographic accompaniment, it is supplemented by twelve woodcut and copperplate plates with maps and plans, mostly two-page. It contains maps of Europe and Asia, which have a curious allegorical form and are referred to as the "Virgin of Europe" and the "mythical Pegasus", depicting Asia. These two are only ones are not printed with woodcut for this edition, but with copper engraving. This is not the case of other editions, so this is very popular with collectors. The map of Africa shows the indicated sources of the Nile, 2 maps of the Holy Land, a map of Egypt and Judea, a visual plan of Jerusalem and Jerusalem's main temple. Part 2 is followed by another map of the Holy Land and a map of the wider Eastern Mediterranean, including Turkey, Cyprus and Greece. Maps often have decorative and fantastic decorations with sailboats, sea carriages, semi-human and sea creatures and monsters.
