Otto Schmidt-Hofer (1873 - 1925) GREEK WARRIOR

Otto Schmidt-Hoffer is one of the leading German sculptors of the late 19th and early 20th century. The bronze statue of a warrior thematically belongs to his work before the First World War. During this period, he mainly worked on themse of antiquity: athletes, dancers, heroes and warriors. He was internationally renowned for these masterful depictions, and exhibited in leading European galleries during his time.
