FIGURE OF A MINER

A carved figure of a miner in traditional uniform, wearing a tall miner’s hat adorned with the crossed hammer-and-pick emblem, with a candlestick in his hand. Polychromed folk work. Very good overall condition, with minor wear to the polychromy, rubbed gilding, and localised defects.
