"King Lávra" by the writer Karel Havlíček Borovský is a poem from 1854 based on an Irish folk legend. In this work, Borovský drew on the story of Ireland’s struggle for independence from England to symbolize the efforts of Czech patriots. On the reverse side are a mirror sketch and the author’s notes, along with a stamp from Antonín Kybal’s collection.
