A hand-knotted rug with geometric ornamentation in muted shades of brown, red and dark blue. The central field is densely filled with geometricised motifs, surrounded by a broad border divided into rectangular compartments with medallion ornaments. Significant pile wear, with areas of loss and damage to the edges. Baluch group, probably Khorasan / Afghanistan region.
