Hand-knotted wool carpet with a red field arranged in three vertical rows of large octagonal göls (medallions), complemented by smaller geometric motifs. Multiple geometric borders and broad flat-woven kilim end finishes at both ends; areas of abrash are visible in the colouring. Central Asia, Amu Darya region.
