Pravoslav Kotík (1889 - 1970) VYŠEHRAD

Kotík’s work features many layers, ranging from Expressionism and Fauvism in his early works, to Cubism and Neoclassicism in the 1920s, and even a touch of Surrealism in the 1950s. Kotík is fascinated by the city, particularly the contrast between the old and the new, which he also reflects in his figurative compositions.
