Adolf Born’s early lithographs represent a rawer and stylistically earlier form, in which vibrantly colored areas predominate over line work. The overall style gradually evolves toward Born’s characteristic style. Even in this early work, his signature humor—based on caricatured depictions of people in humorous situations—is already evident.
