Ferdinand Kotvald (1898 - 1980) VANISHED PRAGUE - RIVER SKATING

Ferdinand Kotvald was born in the Haná region and was initially captivated by the theater, where he also met his future wife. He studied painting abroad, traveled, and incorporated a harmony of color patches—particularly blues (which predominate), reds, and yellows—into his paintings. His landscapes and flower arrangements are swept up in a vibrant whirlwind of color.
